The Undertaker is the greatest of all time. While there are many wrestlers that can contest that claim, none can say that they wrestled through the ’80s all the way to the 2020s. Mark Calaway has given his life and soul to this industry and it’s no surprise that even after retiring from the ring, The Undertaker will be contributing to the success of the wrestling industry behind a microphone.

Prior to this year, a podcast featuring The Undertaker as the host was in the news. But now, with ‘The Godfather’ claiming to be appearing on one of these podcast episodes, the news seems to be concrete.

In an interview with the A2theK YouTube channel, The Godfather revealed, “Undertaker has his own podcast. I don’t know when they’re going to release it, but he has his own podcast where he’s already shot a bunch of episodes and I am the second episode, it’s me and him.

As revealed, it looks like The Undertaker will be continuing his presence in the wrestling industry. In the same way, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin has been able to connect with a new audience and new superstars through his Broken Skull Sessions. We hope to see Taker talk to some of our favorite wrestlers from the new generation.

The legacy of The Undertaker

The Undertaker debuted at a time when the WWF needed more characters. We had the American superheroes, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage, and the villains like Sgt. Slaughter, Vader. But there wasn’t anybody who could go over the crowd as both. Someone the crowd was wild for but didn’t carry the usual heroic traits under their belt.

When The Undertaker arrived, he fit right in with the crowd. Everybody loved him, and everyone wanted to know more about him. He is one of the few wrestlers in WWE’s glorious history who would keep changing with the changing eras, but never lost his uniqueness. In the Attitude Era, he was the head of The Ministry of Darkness. In the Ruthless Aggression period, he became the ‘American Badass’ and in the PG era, he was ‘The Phenom’.

He had feuds with every big baby face and vicious heel, from Hulk Hogan in his prime, Triple H in DX, Shawn Michaels at the end of his career, Edge before retiring, AJ Styles, to even Roman Reigns, and many more. It is a precedent that ‘The Phenom’ has created something that will never be diminished.
