But one strikes the iron hotter than others, the fake Undertaker storyline. The concept was weird, and the implementation was weirder. Involving The Undertaker’s debut and the present, it was like a big event that SummerSlam. And Mark Calloway has a very funny story about his fake replica, Brian Lee.
The Undertaker’s hilarious story about Brian Lee
On the Table for 3 show, The Undertaker iterated, “I’ll tell you a funny story. I wasn’t there but told this story from Jack Lanza… The story involves you [The Godfather] and Brian Lee. I guess you and Brian had a pretty late night, the night before. Got pretty torn up and were a few minutes late to the show. So I guess Brian gets a little before and he’s already concocted this whole huge story.”

“He’d already had all the details and concocted and he’s telling Jack Lanza this story, right? So, Brian finishes his story and then Jack goes, Okay, you’re fined $500 for being late. Brian is like What? Why me? Then Jack gets up and leaves. And then he comes in. Bear comes in and says, Look, Jack, I’m sorry, I was out late drinking, I’m sorry for bringing late. Jack goes, Oh don’t worry about it… Just be honest. I think that is one of the greatest Jack Lanza stories.”
The Undertaker vs fake Undertaker storyline
After losing the iconic casket match for the WWF Championship, The Undertaker ascended to heaven in kayfabe and suffered a back injury in real life. Waiting for him to be cleared, Vince McMahon stirred the pot till The Deadman could return.

Coming out to the ring, the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase, brought the fake Undertaker, Brian Lee, to the ring. Saying that The Deadman has changed alliances and now is a man moved by riches, he proclaimed that the Undertaker is back. But Paul Bearer said that the real Undertaker will be back.
