The Undertaker will forever remain one of the greatest names in pro-wrestling history. He’s one of the individuals who has contributed immensely to the business, and rarely broke character, showing his commitment to the game.

Now, while he put the sport first, he also put his crew before him. He was the locker room leader, and everyone looked up to him. Instead of taking advantage of that, he ensured he didn’t put them through any form of harassment.

During a conversation, WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield revealed the time The Undertaker put himself through excruciating pain to save the crew’s time.

“He led my example. We were in London that time when had got his ear halfway cut off or whatever. He should have gone to hospital right then, but if he did, WWE were going to miss the charter window to get back to the states. So, he got all fixed up and they kind of sedate him a little. He got on the plane and flew all the way back across the ocean so he could have surgery. It had to be killing him. Just so the rest of the crew didn’t have to spend the night, he took a medical chance.”

Not everyone does this for their colleagues or crew. But, The Phenom has always come through when needed. No wonder he’s celebrated across the industry and WWE.

The Undertaker will be present at WrestleMania 38

The news which took over the business like a storm is WWE announcing to induct The Undertaker in the WWE Hall of Fame as Class of 2022.

The Phenom and others will be inducted to the Hall of Fame at a ceremony prior to WrestleMania 38. However, all of them will make an appearance at WrestleMania 38, which includes The Undertaker.

This will be the first time since his official retirement at Survivor Series 2020 where Taker will make an appearance in front of the WWE Universe at a WWE PPV. Prior to this, he was present at Royal Rumble 2022, but remained backstage. He was primarily present to support his wife, Michelle McCool, who was a returning legend at the women’s match.
