Eddie Guerrero was a pro wrestling icon unlike any other. October 9, 2022 marked the 55th birthday of the late great Guerrero. After his untimely death, his legacy continues to live on to this day. There is a long list of wrestlers who pay their respects and tributes to the ‘Latino Heat’ whenever his name pops up. Recently, another name, one of the biggest in WWE history, was added to the list- The Undertaker.

After his retirement from WWE, The Undertaker has been involved in some projects expanding his horizon. One of these projects is the 1deadman show he hosts. During a recent show in Philadelphia, Taker talked about a variety of things, while also paying Eddie Guerrero a rich tribute.

The Undertaker praised Eddie Guerrero for his storytelling

The Undertaker who entertained the WWE fans for three decades, continues to treat the fans with his presence in a different manner. The ‘1 deadMAN SHOW’ features the WWE legend talking about his life in pro wrestling and beyond. He started the show in July this year in Nashville, TN, during the WWE SummerSlam weekend.

The WWE Hall of Famer held another edition of the ‘1deadMan Show’ on October 7, in Philadelphia. Thi was two days before Eddie Guerrero’s birthday. He recalled hilarious stories about Paul Bearer and Paul Heyman during his time as a performer. The Undertaker also praised the legendary Eddie Guerrero during the show.

The exact information remains unavailable since the show isn’t telecasted anywhere. However, according to ‘Pro Wrestlingdotnet‘, The Undertaker put over Eddie Guerrero, a remarkable talent, who understood storytelling in the ring. Indeed, Guerrero was an amazing talent in every aspect.

He was one of those rare wrestlers that excelled in the roles of both heel and face. Eddie had the ability to hold the audience’s attention whenever he was in the ring wrestling or talking. His connection with fans was something special and went beyond the ring. It was evident when he won the WWE Championship for the first time in his career in 2004.

Even while playing a bad guy, the crowd cheered for him, loving his ‘lying, cheating and stealing’ schtick. His sudden death in 2005 left the WWE fans and his colleagues heartbroken.

The fact that a great like The Undertaker praised Guerrero for his storytelling is huge. WWE posthumously inducted him into the Hall of Fame in 2006. Although he is no longer with us, Eddie Guerrero will be remembered as one of the greatest to ever step foot inside the squared circle.
