Recently, former Wyatt Family and WWE superstar member Erick Redbeard aka Eric Rowan appeared in an interview with Wrestle Buddy. Rowan shared how he landed in WWE and many more Wyatt Family insights. Also, he shared about his current wrestling run outside WWE. He also shared a disappointment from his WWE run.
Erick Rowan regrets not having a match with The Undertaker
In the interview, Erick Rowan shared a regret from his WWE run, which was not able to have a match with The Undertaker. WWE booked the Wyatt Family to have a match with The Brothers of Destruction.
Initially Luke Harper (Brodie Lee) and Erick Rowan were booked in the match as a part if Wyatt Family. But later, a week prior, Rowan was replaced with Bray Wyatt.
Rowan said, “The Undertaker is great, he would give you advice, and he’s not one to do that unless he sees something in you. He’s not gonna pull you inside for no reason. For guy like to take time to pull you aside and give you pointers and whatnot without you having to ask. It means a lot things that he says sticks through to you. He’s cool and a great guy.”
He added, “My only regret was when we had the match with The Wyatts Family vs Brothers of Destruction, it was me and Brodie vs Brothers of Destruction, then the next week it’s Windham and Brodie. I was disappointed about that.”
It disappointed Rowan, but he also stated that this might happen for a good reason. He wanted to face The Undertaker and Kane alongside Brodie Lee. It would have been a highlight for the Bludgeon Brothers in WWE, even though fighting was a part of the Wyatt Family.
