Birthdays are special. You turn a year older and wiser, and the day is all about you. In fact, the day after birthdays are special too. However, for The Undertaker, it’s nothing to do with age.
So, The Undertaker was born on March 24th, 1965. As one would assume, he celebrates his birthday on this day. While that’s there, it’s not all he celebrates.

Every WWE fan knows about Taker’s WrestleMania streak. He won 21 WrestleManias consecutively before finally losing to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30.
The streak actually began on March 25th, 1991. He went up against Jimmy Snuka at WrestleMania VII on March 24th, 1991, kick starting the streak.
Considering the impact of the streak, there is no better way to celebrate it other than it coinciding with his birthday. Day 1 of the streak started from March 25th, 1991.
If there comes a day when he doesn’t want to celebrate his birthday, there’s always the streak to take up a celebration!

The Undertaker has a second reason to celebrate the date
On 25th March, 2020, The Phenom was a part of a WWE production which went forward into making history.
It so happened that Taker’s last match, The Boneyard Match, against AJ Styles was filmed on March 25th, 2020 for WrestleMania 36. It aired on a later date.
He defeated AJ Styles in a cinematic match, and the WWE Universe went berserk over the production.

This was one of the WWE cinematic matches which was an absolute hit between the fans. In fact, the match went on to become the best match of 2020! Moreover, it was the first cinematic match, and nothing that has followed could live up to the standards set by The Boneyard Match.
Keeping the above two in mind, it’s no surprise that The Undertaker has a very different reason to celebrate March 25th, and not just continue his birthday celebrations!

There are a handful of Superstars who have had the same impact on the WWE Universe the way The Phenom has had. Hence, it’s no surprise that when WWE announced his Hall of Fame induction, there wasn’t one person who thought he didn’t deserve it!
