Over the years, we have witnessed many historic ladder matches in WWE. But one name which comes to mind when we think about the risk-taking abilities in these ladder matches is definitely Jeff Hardy. Though he contested in many spell bounding ladder matches, the ladder match with The Undertaker in 2002 is perhaps the most memorable one for Jeff.
Jeff Hardy battled ‘The Phenom’ in a ladder match back in 2002 on WWE Raw for the WWE Undisputed Championship. Even though Hardy put in a praiseworthy performance, he could not get the better of The Undertaker. But there was an incident where The Undertaker got super p*ssed at the young Jeff Hardy.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Hardy admitted the ladders were his thing at that moment and that match with The Undertaker did wonders for his solo career in WWE. Further, the WWE superstar revealed the incident which annoyed The Undertaker during their ladder match in 2002.

He said, “Just putting together sports with the Undertaker… One of my fondest memories was getting on his Harley [Davidson] out there and pretending I was doing a nac nac on a dirtbike and that p***** him off and he came after me [laughs].”
The WWE superstar was surprised by the lovely gesture shown to him by The Undertaker at the end of the match. The Undertaker lifted Hardy’s hand at the end of the match as a sign of respect for his opponent. After Raw went off air, he collapsed, looking at his hand and wondering was that even real.
