The WWE Universe has recently celebrated the 58th birthday of its most iconic character, The Undertaker. Only a couple of years after his retirement, it is still a major question if any WWE superstar can ever come close to what The Undertaker was. He was undoubtedly a legend of the WWE, who has earned much respect and love from all his fans. 

If people start loving someone so dearly, it is clearly seen in their behavior toward him. A similar thing has always happened when it comes to ‘The Deadman’. Fans have showered their love upon him throughout his career. And the fans also never fail to surprise their idol with their efforts. One such instance took place recently that The Phenom appreciated. 

The Undertaker appreciated one of his birthday gifts publicly

Before his birthday, the WWE Hall of Famer made a plea to all his fans. It was regarding his birthday celebration that included a show in Las Vegas, namely “UNDERTAKER 1 deadman SHOW.” In the show, ‘Taker describes his colossal career in WWE at length. However, during the event, a U.S. Army sergeant came over to the legend to hand him a prestigious gift.

The gift was so moving that ‘The Phenom’ not only acknowledged it but thanked the U.S. Army officer for gifting it on his Twitter. Along with a brief thankful note, he also posted some pictures with him where the 58-year-old looks emotional.

In the tweet, he wrote, “Thank you Sgt. Ugalde for your service and for this special birthday gift! The story behind it is truly meaningful!” 

By looking at the pictures and the caption, the gift possibly looks like to be a medal. However, the exact meaning behind this or what it implies is not certain. 

This tweet also makes us think that how The Undertaker has changed so much over the years.

One who has followed the matches and the performances of The Undertaker would know that he never made such frequent public appearances before. It might also be surprising for many to see him tweet like any commoner, as he stayed away from social media for most of his career.

But The Undertaker has been making public appearances more often after his retirement and is able to fully express himself as he is no longer bound by the kayfabe elements of WWE. This newfound personality of the legend must be exciting for the fans to encounter.
