“The Unbiased Journalist..” – Michael Cole Takes a Subtle Dig at AEW Boss Tony Khan During the Elimination Chamber

The final pay-per-view before the biggest WWE event of the year is going on full of action. Over seventeen thousand fans are experiencing it and witnessing several amazing moments. The pay-per-view initiated with the six-women elimination chamber match, during which, the crowd saw some phenomenal high-flying moves and power-packed action. However, the action is not the only thing that fans are witnessing.

The WWE commentator Michael Cole just dove into the brawl between AEW owner Tony Khan and Canadian-American journalist Ariel Helwani. He didn’t directly point Tony out, but his words clearly implied that. 

WWE commentator called Helwani an ‘Unbiased Journalist’

The journalist Ariel Helwani is attending the WWE Elimination Chamber along with the MMA legend St-Pierre. Just as the camera pointed toward him. Michael Cole addressed him as an ‘Unbiased Journalist’ and said that he will ask the questions no matter whether you want to answer or not.

While sitting at the commentary table, Cole said, “he unbiased journalist Ariel Helwani … who asks all the important questions, whether you want to answer them or not.”

Here, Michael Cole referred to the event that happened a few months ago between Helwani and Tony Khan. The AEW owner appeared on Helwani’s show. But, during the interview, he tried to avoid several questions. Later, Helwani said that the interview was quite frustrating as Tony kept on dodging the questions.

This started a feud between the Canadian-American journalist and the AEW Owner. Tony Khan even called Ariel ‘a fraud’ after he made his appearance in the WWE SmackDown.  In reply, Helwani also shot a tweet sarcastically thanking the owner of All Elite Wrestling. And now that Michael Cole had taken a subtle dig at Tony, it might be interesting to see how he responds.
