John Cena has finally returned to WWE and fans couldn’t be more hyped for this return. As he revealed his WrestleMania status a couple of weeks ago, the fans were excited. Some want him to stay beyond this WrestleMania while others believe it could be a long time until we will see The Champ again after ‘Mania.

Ever since Cena’s Hollywood break became public, fans couldn’t help but be excited about his return to the promotion again. To make the situation clear, The Prototype recently appeared in an exclusive interview with ‘The Associated Press’. He also explained what the future holds for him in the wrestling industry.

Whether we like this fact or not, all our favorite stars one day have to retire from the roles that we love seeing them in. The reasons for their retirement can vary. While some do it to switch their professions, others get too used up to perform further.

Even though people seem to enjoy his cameos, Cena cleared out that it may not go on forever.

I’m feeling my age, so to speak. I could use a little bit of rest,confessed Cena. “I’m trying to do my best to not fall into the trap of workaholism where I just hide in my work and I’m not a fully open, vulnerable human being to the people around me, the people that I love.

The WWE legend made sure to explain to his fans that he is not the person they should expect to be there forever. In fact, Cena would also like some rest from work since he has never been the person to sacrifice his relations for work.

He also decided to shed some light on the internet chaos that has been happening for quite a while now. Although Cena appreciated the enthusiasm people presented upon his return, he also tried to give an honest opinion about his future in WWE. The Prototype did not want anyone to get the wrong idea of his permanent return. 

For now, the Hollywood star looks forward to his WrestleMania 39 bout with Austin Theory. Whether he would continue in the wrestling world is a decision for another day.
