Social media can be a really difficult place to handle, especially when you are famous or hold differing views on any given subject. WWE personality Kayla Braxton found this out the hard way after she called out Candace Cameron on Twitter. She received a lot of flak and eventually deactivated her Twitter account.
Fans react to Kayla Braxton deactivating Twitter to negative remarks
Kayla Braxton is one of the most likable WWE personalities around. She is often seen backstage on TV interviewing stars and she also hosts a few WWE shows. Away from the ring, she usually shares her thoughts on social media and is pretty vocal with her thoughts. But one such tweet led to some trouble for Braxton.
Braxton revealed she received hateful remarks for calling out Candace Cameron. In an interview with Wall Street Journal, American actress and producer Candace Cameron said that she wanted to bring Christianity back to Christmas movies. She had said, “I think that the Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core”, which excluded the LGBTQ community.
Braxton then shared an Instagram story displaying a screenshot of the hateful remarks she received from fans after she called out Candace and wrote, “what kind of love-based religion are you claiming to stand up for and represent?”. The negative remarks were too much for Braxton, who ended up deactivating her Twitter account. As this news came out, fans took to Twitter to sympathize with the WWE star.

It's rather pathetic that people are not allowed to express how they feel unless it's to appease the masses, Completely one sided world we live in. Unity my ass this country is ridiculously divided

Some fans said they enjoyed her presence on Twitter.
This is upsetting. I loved her twitter, she honestly made my day. I hope she is ok and will enjoy her time away from the worm hole of twitter.

This is why we can't have nice things ; we had one of the most wholesome people on twitter . And Neanderthals and generates caused her to leave. Simply for expressing her thoughts. SMH, man. https://t.co/oPGJXPqT65
