It is well that Dwayne Johnson comes from a big wrestling background. The Samoan family has a long history of pro wrestling. As a third-generation wrestler, ‘The Rock’ has established his name as the greatest superstar in the company’s history. Over the years, many wrestlers came from the Anoa’i families, such as Peter Maivia, Rocky Johnson, The Rock, Rikishi, Umaga, Roman Reigns, and The Usos.

In addition, Lina Fanene, a.k.a. Nia Jax is another member of the Anoa’i family that wrestles. Fanene, The Rock’s cousin, recently shared an eye-catching photograph on social media to promote body positivity.

Last year, WWE released Jax after her seven-year run in the company. In her career, she established herself as one of the strongest wrestlers in the women’s division. During her career, she won the Raw women’s championship as well as the tag team championship.

Moreover, she once stated that prior to her career, she was often told that she was too big for the wrestling profession and that she didn’t belong there. Lina Fanene has been promoting body positivity awareness very confidently on social media, as seen by her most recent post.

What’s next for Nia Jax?

WWE unexpectedly released Jax on November 4, 2021. As soon as the news of her release became public, many were surprised. However, Lina Fanene has not given any information on her return to the ring after her release from the WWE. She was, nevertheless, offered a slot in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match, which she declined.

Further, Nia Jax’s social media accounts indicate that she works with brands and agencies. Lina Fanene has also started collaborating on short comedic videos with her close friend Mojo Rawley. However, it appears that she will be absent from the wrestling scene for a little longer.
