“The Rock vs Bray Wyatt Future WrestleMania Match”: Dwayne Johnson Emotionally Struggling to Overcome Bray Wyatt’s Death, Drops Another ‘Heartbroken’ Tribute

Bray Wyatt‘s departure may have been untimely, but his WWE legacy will forever echo in our hearts. The WWE Universe is still in a state of mourning since his passing. Many renowned wrestling personalities sent out their heartfelt condolences to the grief-stricken Rotunda family. That said, one of the biggest names in wrestling and Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson, took to social media to share a special moment he had with “The Eater of the World”.

Wyatt faced off against many prominent wrestling figures like The Undertaker and John Cena during his career. And he once came very close to locking up with The Great One. 

Dwayne Johnson recounts his cherished interaction with Bray Wyatt at the grandest stage

Bray Wyatt was destined for greatness in WWE. After all, he became the new face of fear after The Undertaker. During the pinnacle of Wyatt’s career, he came face to face with The Rock at WrestleMania 32. At the time, Wyatt always came to the ring while being flanked by The Wyatt Family. 

Taking to Instagram, Dwayne Johnson shared a clip of his unforgettable encounter with The Wyatt Family in 2016. Johnson wrote, “Bray Wyatt was a very unique, cool, rare, ORIGINAL and AUTHENTIC character — which is actually very hard to create in our crazy world of pro wrestling. Very few have done it. Bray was one of them. So at WRESTLEMANIA 32 – in front of the largest crowd in WWE HISTORY – 101,763 rabid @wwe universe fans.”

During the segment, both third-generation stars had an intense interaction. According to The Rock, he and Bray shared the ring to test the waters before finally having a dream match someday.

“Bray and I, decided to GO FOR IT and “test the waters” to see how the crowd would react to a potential ROCK vs BRAY WYATT future WrestleMania match. Needless to say, we got our answer.”

After Wyatt warned The Rock to tread lightly, The Rock took off his shirt and threw a challenge to The Wyatt Family.

Bray Wyatt then directed Erick Rowan to neutralize The Rock. However, the match only lasted six seconds, as Erick Rowan ended up tasting defeat after taking an impactful Rock Bottom.

Subsequently, The Wyatt Family proceeded to surround the ring to victimize The Rock. But John Cena made his way out to save The Rock, with both stars working in tandem to lay waste to The Wyatt Family. Anyway, it would have been interesting to see Bray Wyatt face off against Dwayne Johnson. 

Bray Wyatt defeated The Rock’s biggest rival multiple times

Although the prospect of a dream match between The Rock and Bray Wyatt is confined to video games, Wyatt had an enduring feud with John Cena. 

The late wrestler also earned a win over the 16-time World Champion at WrestleMania 36. Nonetheless, the WrestleMania 32 instance was the closest we came to witnessing Bray Wyatt’s interaction with The Rock. It was intriguing to relive the iconic moment after The Rock posted it on social media.
