The Rock delivered a Rock Bottom before pinning The Texas Rattlesnake. When WWE put up the same moment on their social media to celebrate #Rock25, Johnson knew he had to let the world know what that moment meant to him.

The Rock revealed that was the only time he felt emotional delivering his infamous Rock Bottom. Hence, he paused before executing it, to soak in the moment, to embrace what it represented.

It marked the end of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s glorious WWE career. He was the man who pulled WWE forward, helped innumerable talents, focused on how to bring pro-wrestling under the limelight, and whatnot.

The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin headlined three WrestleManias
The first was WrestleMania 15. At this event, The Texas Rattlesnake defeated The Rock and marked his re-establishment as the top Superstar in WWE. Moreover, it helped set up more matches between Austin and The McMahons.
Next was WrestleMania 17. At this event, Austin again defeated The Great One. However, this match marked the momentum of The Attitude Era, making them the biggest attraction at that point. It just made sense!

Even before WrestleMania 19, everyone knew Johnson wanted to move to Hollywood. But, the match against Austin was rather important.
However, following that match, he put Goldberg over. This helped WWE set a pace for The Icon while The People’s Champ moved on to pursue a career in acting.
