“No One Did That”: Dwayne Johnson Once Hoped to Marry Legendary Actress Who Is 15 Years Older Than Him for a Heartwarming Reason

A family man, Dwayne Johnson, is a father to three lovely daughters. Once married to Dany Garcia during his younger years, they parted ways in 2008. He and Garcia remain friends and are even close, as business partners in several of their ventures together.

Simone Johnson, The Rock’s eldest daughter, was born to Garcia, while his two younger daughters are from his second wife, whom he married in 2019. He currently is also one of the world’s richest actors owing to his earnings from his films and his successful ventures.

He met Lauren Hashian, his second wife at the sets of the film, ‘Game Plan’ in 2006, and started dating a year later. The couple has two daughters together and got married in 2019. However, before marrying Hashian, during a 2018 episode of TheEllenShow, Johnson opined up about marrying someone else.

Speaking on the show, they started discussing Simone Johnson’s role as the Golden Globe Ambassador in 2018. The Rock began speaking on her role at the event.

He said, “Frances McDormand. She wins Golden Globe. She goes up there, and I love Frances, as we all do. And she goes up and she goes to speak, and right before she speaks. She turns around and walks backstage. Like to the back of the stage.”

The Rock continued, “And shakes Simone’s hand, out of the blue. And it just blew me away. It was just so amazing because no one did that. And she had the awareness to do this, to my 16-year-old daughter. She thanked everyone, turned around thanked her. She gave her speech, now as she is walking off, Frances grabs Simone’s hand, and she has globe in this hand and she has Simone’s hand in this hand.”

Continuing with the story, The Brahma Bull said, “And she kisses Simone’s hand. And I was like, Jesus. And I was just so blown away by the gesture. So beautiful of her. And I have been meaning, by the way, to call her and tell her, I got a little crush on Frances.”

He then asked the legendary actress for exchanging numbers and said, “So, I gotta say this to the world who’s watching. Frances, we are gonna have to exchange numbers because just between you and I. I know nobody else is watching, we’re gonna get married. It’s not gonna be weird, Lauren’s down with it! It’s just gonna be cool.“
