The Rock is one of the biggest celebrities in the world at the moment. His wrestling and Hollywood career have paved the way for his rise to superstardom. But his craze is not only restricted to the WWE Universe.
The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment is pretty popular among the cricketers as well. During the ongoing first Test match between India and South Africa, Indian skipper Virat Kohli uttered The Rock’s iconic catchphrase in WWE.
On Day 3 of the test match, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah had to leave the field after twisting his ankle. But after receiving treatment, he entered the field once again.

The Rock and WWE have had an influence on cricket for a long time
Following the Indian Cricket Team’s ODI series win against Australia, Indian batsman Rohit Sharma tried to troll his teammate, Yuzvendra Chahal. Unfortunately for Chahal, he did not feature in the playing XIs during that ODI series.
Rohit posted a tweet that had the picture of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, along with a picture of Chahal.
In the caption, Sharma wrote, “Best picture I saw today. India wins the series, but someone else takes the headlines. Bravo!!”
The leg spinner took the post in the right spirit. He retweeted it by mentioning Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the caption and followed it up with a few emojis.
