“I’ll Always Fight”: Dwayne Johnson Takes a Dig at Black Adam’s Critics on Rotten Tomatoes

Dwayne Johnson has time and time proven to be ‘The People’s Champion’. It seems the fans have finally shown why The Rock has earned that name. After his latest film, Black Adam, released this week, it was recieved with mixed reviews from critics. However, the fans expressed their love by storming to the theaters to watch Black Adam.

Recently, Black Adam just hit a milestone as the fans gave top ratings for Dwayne Johnson’s latest project. While on the Rotten Tomatoes website Black Adam has 40% Critics Consensus, the audience have given a 90% score for the movie.

It made The Rock glad, and he expressed his feeling by posting a tweet. He wrote, “This phenomenal 90% AUDIENCE SCORE for #BlackAdam is so gratifying for so many reasons. 15 years”

“THANK YOU for all so much for all the love and support 🙏🏾🌎🖤 In the end, the only thing that matters to me is sending the people home happy. And that’s what I’ll always fight for.⚡️”

This particular film is close to the WWE legend, as he claims Black Adam will bring a new era to the DC Extended Universe. Moreover, he had also stated he will make sure the fans get what they have asked for years from DC.

Clearly, this 90% rating gives a hint of how fans are ready to support Johnson in this new era in DCEU. Crucial support like this will motivate The Rock to make quality movies, not in DCEU but in his other projects as well.

Dwayne Johnson hits a new personal record as Black Adam collects big money on day one!

It was only a matter of time before the box-office collection from day one of Black Adam was revealed. As The Rock himself eagerly promoted the movie, his fans stormed the cinemas to watch the film. Thus, the film had a great opening day. 

Film critic Erik Davis shared the same in his recent tweet. He wrote that with $26.8 million, Black Adam scores the best opening day ever for The Rock in a starring role. This is a great review in itself for the WWE legend as the DC movie, after several delays, finally hit the theaters on October 21st, 2022.

Moreover, Davis also shed light on the fact that Black Adam can become the first DCEU’s highest-grossing movie without the core Justice stars. Even though Henry Cavill is rumored to appear in the movie, the entire movie mainly focuses on Johnson and his co-stars.
