“The Rock Didn’t Win”: 18-Year-Old Millionaire Hollywood Sensation on Beating Dwayne Johnson for This Prestigious TV Award

Dwayne Johnson is a man of multi-talents. Apart from being an actor and a businessman, Johnson also used to be a pro wrestler. Known as The Rock in WWE, he was one of the most well-known faces in the company, and he made for himself there among the top stars. However, he would later leave WWE to join Hollywood and shine there as an actor. Over the years, Johnson has found himself to be an essential part of several highly-grossing movies.

At the recently conducted People’s Choice Awards, a surprising star won the 2022 Male TV Star of the year. After receiving the award, the ‘Stranger Things’ star was shocked that Dwayne Johnson did not win the award.

Who won the award instead of Dwayne Johnson?

Noah Schnapp is an extremely popular actor, and rose to fame after playing the character of Will Byers on Stranger Things. He said, “Oh my god! Thank you guys. I can’t believe I won. Wow! I can’t believe The Rock didn’t win.”

He would then continue to show his gratitude to everyone present there, as well as his crew, the producers, and his cast mates. Schnapp stated, “First of all, thank you guys to my fans and all the Stranger Things fans out there. Love you guys. You guys are truely the best, the most passionate, best fans in the world.” He continued, “And, I am so eternally grateful to my family, to Steph and Annie, everyone at CAA, Netflix, Sean Levy, the Duffers and finally to my amazing castmates on Stranger Things.”

He concluded his speech with great news for the fans and teased an amazing upcoming season of Stranger Things. While Johnson may not have won the award, WWE fans have great things to potentially look forward to.

Roman Reigns going against The Rock at WrestleMania 39 has been in the talks for a long time now. And, is one of the most anticipated matches of all time. The two cousins going against each other is the talk of the town.

Recent reports from the ‘Wrestling Observer’ state The Rock returning at Royal Rumble 2023 to set up the feud with Roman Reigns at The Grandest Stage of them all. These are all internal reports and there has been no confirmation from the company yet. Although, it is rumored that The Rock enter as the final entrant in the Royal Rumble, and win the match.
