However, there might be some good news waiting in for the fans. According to Giantfreakinrobot, Johnson is now being persuaded to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As per reports, Kevin Feige wants Dwayne Johnson as Apocalypse, one of Marvel’s biggest villains.
Rumors suggesting Johnson’s inclusion in the billion dollar movie franchise can be a huge boost. The Rock can bring in crowds and also hold a massive popularity. However, not everything can take place as per words. Dwayne Johnson’s involvement in the DCEU is serious. He will play the titular character in the Black Adam movie, and reports suggest that the future of DCEU will be based around Black Adam.
Thus, Johnson’s character is now one of the most characters in the DCEU. Along with that, he has also been roped in as the advisor for the DC Studios. The latter half might act as a conflict of interest for Marvel and might stop them from bringing in, The Brahma Bull.
X-Men is also going to be introduced in the MCU and hiring Dwayne Johnson as Apocalypse would have acted as an advantage. Since, the previous role of Apocalypse played by Oscar Isaac, and the movie was a disappointment in the whole.
