John Cena returned to the squared circle to confront a WWE superstar and set up a match at The Grandest Stage of Them All. The emotions were on obvious display on Cena’s face as an electric crowd greeted his music and arrival with aplomb. But it seems like something even better came to fruition for the fans down the line.

Being greeted by the US Champion Austin Theory, the two generations’ wrestlers engaged in a verbal segment. Following that, the duo saw eye to eye for a WrestleMania 39 match on April 1st. Amid the flourishing excitement for their upcoming WrestleMania match, there was still a doubt hovering around about Cena’s next WWE TV appearance before the big stage arrival. A recent report put fans’ qualms at ease.

Cena prioritizes WWE over Hollywood

As The Cenation Leader is currently busy with his other commitment, Hollywood, for the hectic shooting schedule of the ‘Ricky Stanicky’ movie, fans didn’t expect much of his presence in the WWE arena at the current time. However, the latest tweet from the star himself cleared the air.

The tweet goes like this, “Wrapped #RickyStanicky early Saturday! Excited for first day on set of #GrandDeathLotto 2day! Then..BOSTON @WWE #RAW 2nite! “Experts,” said it was impossible for me 2 appear on the road to #WrestleMania Guess they C ME. It’s never impossible. 2 make time 4 family & loved 1s.”

Additionally, in the current edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer’s report made it even more inevitable than before. The report suggested that “Cena actually wrapped up his filming of the movie Ricky Stanicki on 3/4, so he will be available for television over the next several weeks.” Fans expressed their delight at the news on social media.

This update naturally stimulated fans to the core as it allowed them to find the familiar flavor of the weekly WWE Raw. After attaining the top position in the business, Cena earned his deserved right to feature in the company’s flagship show, Raw, back in 2000. The iconic timeline is still vividly visible in our memory. Hence, it’s no doubt that the 16-time World Champion’s return to his old pavilion added a unique aura altogether.

Moreover, some fans believe John Cena did justice to his greatest of all-time title by choosing his first love, wrestling over acting.

They clearly can’t hide their excitement.

Fans seem hopeful that their lost days of wrestling will be back with the comeback of their childhood hero.
