His charisma and mic ability made him a must-see performer every time in the WWE Attitude Era. He was instrumental in getting people to talk about WWE in the mainstream during the ’90s.
Popular comedian talked about introducing Dwayne Johnson to Hollywood mega-star
Last year, comedian Jack Whitehall talked about introducing Emily Blunt to The Rock. He said how he was a massive wrestling fan while growing up. He was obsessed with Dwayne, so he could educate Blunt about The Rock’s wrestling legacy. Whitehall also recalled one time that all three of them were on set together, he talked to the ‘Mary Poppins’ star about how DJ was the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, and his finishing move called the Rock Bottom.”

“She was like, ‘The Rock Bottom? What’s that?’ I tried to explain how it was a finisher where he slammed the opponent down, and I said it was probably easier if I demonstrated it. I started trying to show her what the Rock Bottom looked like by slinging her arm over my shoulder. And at which point Dwayne looked over and saw me performing the move on Mary Poppins, which was quite a strange introduction to one of my childhood heroes,” Whitehall added.

And we could be seeing Johnson hit The Rock Bottom again in the near future. With the many rumors and leaks about his appearance at WrestleMania 39, Johnson vs Roman Reigns could be a huge possibility. But only time will tell if we get an Anoa ‘i family reunion at the Show of Shows.
