Several weeks ago, The Sunday Times recovered some e-mails under the freedom of information laws of Australia and found a conversation between Perth city officials and WWE. The officials had demanded the promotion to bring The Brahma Bull to the ‘City of Lights’. This sparked rumors and speculations that Dwayne Johnson could come to this year’s Elimination Chamber. While talking to Xav & Michelle on their show, Triple H talked about this speculation. He straight-up turned down the rumors. “This show will be spectacular, and nobody will miss The Rock.”

As this all came to be, his schedule is quite tight as you can imagine. So we have him for a lot of events. Unfortunately, this was not one of them,” said the CCO of WWE in the podcast episode.

After revealing DJ’s absence from the PLE, HHH eased the pain of the fanbase by ensuring that the show would still be ‘spectacular’. Moreover, he has promised that the leading wrestling promotion has him booked for several events to come. But what exactly could they have in store for the Hollywood star in the future?
