WrestleMania 39 had so much action packed into 2 wonderful nights of wrestling entertainment. One of the many interesting battles was the InterContinental Championship title fight between Gunther, Drew McIntyre, and Sheamus. However, the reigning champion proved too hard to beat, as Gunther retained his title in spectacular fashion.

Fans witnessed a dominant performance by the former NXT UK champion in the squared circle. However, the Austrian is also victorious off the ring, according to WWE fans. A recent picture shows the current IC champion blushing with his stunning partner and fans can’t get enough of this version of the WWE superstar.

Fans were caught off-guard as Gunther expressed a foreign emotion

In a recent post on Twitter, Gunther shared a couple of happy pictures with his wife and fellow WWE superstar, Jinny a.k.a Jimmy Sandhu. The couple celebrated his latest IC championship victory and fans noticed a strange thing about the ring general’s demeanor.

The WWE universe couldn’t get enough of Gunther’s victories on and off the pitch. The Austrian retained his IC championship title, against all odds, and even set a record during the match.

The Ring General set a new record during his battle for IC Championship

Fans commended WWE icons, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre for putting up an honorable fight at WrestleMania 39. However, most of the praise went to Gunther for his efforts in retaining the IC Championship title. The IC champion even set a record by becoming the first man to pin Drew McIntyre since August 2021, without any help. Certainly a commendable feat in his rise as an underdog in WWE.

Therefore, wrestling fans united to praise his achievement, inside the squared circle against McIntyre. Nevertheless, Gunther can celebrate his achievement with his lovely companion.
