Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are two of the industry’s most talented and skilled pro wrestlers. Through sheer hard work and determination, both these stalwarts have made a name for themselves. Zayn and Owens have a long history, prior to their prime days, both also went through their dog days together.

However, after starting in WWE, both Owens and Zayn had their own share of success. Although, recently both these friends had been on opposite sides of a pole. While Owens was busy in his fight with Roman Reigns, Zayn was busy in pleasing him.

The Prizefighter got in the ring with Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble 2023 to settle their feud. However, Reigns pinned Owens, and gave him the beating of his lifetime. The situation also prompted Reigns to giveover the beating duties to Zayn, who promptly refused. This resulted in Reigns insulting Zayn, and the Honorary Uce finally striking at The Tribal Chief.

Later, it was revealed that after receiving the beating of a lifetime, both Owens and Zayn left Texas, to visit their friend Jay Briscoe’s funeral. Owens and Zayn were close with The Briscoe Brothers, from their time in ROH. Prior to their funeral visit, Owens had even paid a tribute to Briscoe during a weekly live show.

It was indeed a heart-touching gesture and a wholesome moment that saw these two WWE Superstars leave immediately to make it to their friend’s funeral. Despite the characters they play on-screen, both Owens and Zayn are known to be humble and beloved persons.

Their action of visiting their friend’s funeral touched a lot of hearts, and led to the fans react to their wholesome gesture.

It is often a friend who stands up for you, when your family does not. And something similar happened with both Owens and Zayn when they flew and visited Briscoe’s funeral. Their action brought a lot of attention, and led the fans react to it, and celebrate their friendship. Some WWE fans even stated how great these two men even are.

After being left for good in the ring by ‘The Bloodline’, both Owens and Zayn made it up to their feet, and left the arena. Both of them flew out of the town to visit their long-time friend, and former colleague. Apart from Owens, several other superstars were present at the funeral.

It portrayed the harmony and connection the modern generation wrestlers have amongst each other, and despite being in different promotions, they do not stop uniting for the greater cause.
