The Undertaker was undoubtedly one of the biggest contributors to the pro wrestling business as a whole, not just to the WWE organization. He cemented his reputation with the WWE with his illustrious 30-year tenure. The Deadman always returned to wrestling, despite the fact that he sustained numerous injuries over that time.

During a conversation with ‘People’ magazine in 2020, Taker discussed life in the WWE. Notably, he discussed why he kept wrestling despite suffering numerous injuries over the course of his career.

It is generally known that professional wrestling is one of the sports where even a small error could lead to a major injury. Even though The Deadman is a seasoned pro and among the best in the game, he has endured a number of injuries over the course of his career. Despite the injuries and other health issues, he refused to leave the company during his final years as a wrestler.

In a discussion with People Magazine, The Deadman provided an explanation for this. In his words, “When you do it right and you get that ovation, or whatever it is from your audience, that energy that comes back from them, it’s hard to get that anywhere else. I think that’s probably the only reason guys like the [Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson] come back, as successful as he is.”

As per Taker, he always returns to get the same love and respect since the unequaled atmosphere and excitement that WWE fandom gives wrestlers is something that only a few professions can offer. Consequently, he believes that this is the reason why former WWE stars like Dwayne Johnson, who became a Hollywood megastar, also return to the organization.

Not only The Undertaker, but Dwayne Johnson also believes the same

During a recent chat with Ariel Helwani, Triple H recalled a conversation he had with The Great One in which the Hollywood megastar revealed his desire to return and complimented the unparalleled passion WWE fans express. He stated, “The electricity that a hundred thousand people or whatever it is are giving him that moment and he passionately feels that like no one else.”
