The ‘Attitude Era’ was a crazy time to be a WWE fan. The legendary superstars battling each other on a weekly basis was the only thing that the WWE Universe needed at that time. However, two superstars who stood out from the rest of the roster were The Rock and The Undertaker.

And this was all because of their sheer connection with the WWE Universe watching the live show or sitting at home. By the late 90s, The Rock was becoming the breakout superstar with his brilliant in-ring skills and epic promos on the microphone, and The Undertaker had established himself as the ultimate force in the WWE.

Back in the day, The Rock and The Undertaker was one of the hottest feuds of the late 90s and the early 2000s. ‘The Great One’ had a constant back and forth with the ‘heel’ Undertaker and also ‘The American Badass’ persona of the latter.

However, The Rock also mentioned that not only the matches they had on TV were fun but the “matches” that never aired on the TV were more fun, with an evil emoji.

“One of my fav pics. Me and the champ holding the iconic WWF title (cool scratch logo). He was and will always be “the man”. We had some classic matches, especially the ones NOT on TV,” The Rock wrote.
