The ongoing narrative of The Bloodline undoubtedly stands out as one of WWE’s most captivating storylines currently. This villainous group was established in the middle of 2021. Despite the faction being divided due to a recent civil war, the intrigue continues. In a recent interview, a WWE legend, Tommy Dreamer, likened the element of unpredictability in The Bloodline’s saga to a very popular television series.

While only Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman remain in the faction, it’s understood that the faction’s conclusion will only come about when Roman Reigns is dethroned. However, at this point, Roman’s defeat seems far away as he somehow figures out a way to remain the top champion. That being said, what popular TV show is Tommy Dreamer drawing parallels to when discussing elements of The Bloodline’s narrative?

While speaking on a recent edition of The Busted Open podcast, Tommy Dreamer weighed in on the ongoing storyline involving The Bloodline. He noted that while the faction has essentially disbanded, its remnants will persist until Roman Reigns is defeated. Moreover, Dreamer stated that the unpredictable aspect of the story is a lot like the relationship between Ross and Rachel from Friends.

Ross and Rachel, played by David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, were in an on-and-off relationship. Although the couple presumably ended up together in the end, they would split and get back together multiple times. In the same vein, every time we think that Roman Reigns will finally lose, he ends up finding a way to survive.

Dreamer said, “The end of the story is when Roman loses. But then it’s also the beginning of the story because what’s going to happen with Roman after, to continue The Bloodline. That’s why there’s a beautiful part of pro wrestling. If I… Ross and Rachel, they loved each other, they built up to the kiss. The moment they kissed, ‘man i’ve been waiting for this. I’m so happy that these two people that they teased this kiss, they finally get together, boom!’ Then what’s going to happen the next week? Are they going to date? No,  of course they’re going to break up because they were on a break ladies and gentleman.”

Furthermore, after The Usos finally defeated Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank, the WWE Universe was convinced that Roman Reigns’ end was near. However, Jimmy Uso double-crossed his twin. This allowed The Tribal Chief to retain his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship and The Ula Fala.

Nonetheless, Tommy Dreamer made an interesting comparison between The Bloodline and the sitcom Friends. With Jey Uso gone, we will have to wait and see who turns out to be the one to finally end The Bloodline. It should also be noted that Jimmy Uso did not do Roman Reigns a favor at SummerSlam.

Jimmy Uso told Roman Reigns that his betrayal of Jey Uso had nothing to do with him

In the latest edition of SmackDown, Jimmy Uso broke his silence, explaining his actions at SummerSlam. While Roman Reigns assumed that Jimmy was proving to him that he was still a loyal member of The Bloodline, Uso made it clear that he was not.

Jimmy then went on to say that he was trying to prevent Jey from becoming a corrupt Tribal Chief like Roman Reigns. But Jimmy Uso’s explanation fell on deaf ears. As a result, Jey Uso flew off the handle, dishing out superkicks to Roman, Solo, and Jimmy. Jey subsequently shocked the fans by announcing that he is quitting WWE.

Judging by what happened, Jimmy Uso is the only man left standing against Roman Reigns. It will be interesting to see if Jimmy Uso takes his shot at becoming the next Tribal Chief. All in all,  as Dreamer pointed out, The Bloodline will only end once Roman Reigns loses.
