The Fiend Sends a Cryptic Message to Randy Orton Explaining the Origin of Their Rivalry

Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend made a patronizing return at Fastlane 2021. With his burned appearance, Fiend terrified and defeated Orton in his match against Bliss.

On the following night on RAW, The Fiend confirmed his match with Orton at WrestleMania 37 in a menacing statement. This would be Fiend’s first match in WWE since Randy ‘burned him alive’ at TLC 2020.

Since his ‘death’ at TLC, Wyatt’s Twitter account went completely silent. However, following RAW, The Fiend has finally spoken. He shared a cryptic message, rather, a quote from the infamous DC Villain The Joker.

“Someday someone will break you so badly that you’ll become unbreakable,” and he followed it up with a full circle emoji. An old picture also showed Wyatt facing Orton in the latter’s Husky Harris avatar from Nexus.

The picture is from RAW 2011, when Orton delivered a punt kick to Harris during his feud with the Nexus. Wyatt might hint at their rivalry goes long back than it is perceived.

In the main event of RAW, Bray Wyatt accepted Orton‘s challenge and set the WrestleMania sign on fire. Before that, Orton tried to burn the ‘resurrected’ abomination with gasoline and then hit him with an RKO.

But eventually, Wyatt overpowered Orton with a mandible claw, followed by a Sister Abigail. RAW went off air amidst all the chaos of Bliss and Fiend.

Considering Wyatt is playing on the old-school card, there might be a chance there will be a cinematic match between the two. We know Wyatt for manipulating his opponents’ past in Firefly matches.

Following firefly matches, we see a new puppet character commemorating Wyatt’s win or lose. Although the firefly fun house puppets could be a thing of the past right now if Wyatt won at WrestleMania they might come back.

Also, as Wyatt was quoting Joker, we could see a more cynical version of him in the upcoming days. Alexa Bliss and he already have a notorious relationship reminiscing of Harley Quin and Joker.
