In recognition of his contribution and his long relationship with the company, Donald Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. But due to his involvement in several lawsuits, this move by Logan has surely left fans divided.

Logan Paul invites the ire of fans after inviting Donald Trump for a podcast episode

The YouTube sensation-turned-WWE wrestler’s podcast ‘Impaulsive’ has consistently scored high in the ratings charts. The podcast could record substantial numbers yet again this week with Trump’s appearance. Announcing the release of Thursday’s episode, Paul posed for a suit-and-booted photograph with the former US president. In which the pair held Paul’s WWE United States Championship belt.

In another image, Paul and his co-host Mike Majlak are seen at the president’s home interviewing him for the show. With bottles of their Prime drink placed around the room. However, the announcement of the latest episode left fans divided. Many conveyed their excitement to hear it but others were angry that Paul is giving airtime to “a convicted felon” on his show.

On May 30, Trump was found guilty of all 34 counts of falsifying business records in a landmark trial in Manhattan Criminal Court. The former president is now awaiting sentencing in July. Each of his convictions carries a potential maximum sentence of up to four years in prison. So it is no wonder that several fans decided to bash Logan Paul for the move. Claiming that he would do anything for clout. And by now everyone is aware of the fact that he loves being surrounded by controversies. So much so that it is foolish to expect something else from him.

Past events come into play as a user chastised the WWE star for inviting Trump in a bid to garner eyeballs rather than provide meaningful content. The user alluded to Logan Paul’s infamous scandal in Japan where his and his group’s reaction to a deceased corpse garnered brickbats as a prime example of his attention-seeking behavior.

This user decided to take shots at not the entities themselves but the beverage drink the WWE United States champion owns.

While some fans were being sarcastic in the comments. They pretended that they did not know who Logan Paul was, instead confusing him with his brother, Jake Paul. The brother who recently turned to boxing and is apparently a better fighter than the Maverick.
