This week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was another hit show for the WWE, all thanks to The Bloodline drama. Jey Uso accomplished an unimaginable feat by pinning Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank, something that no other superstar could do in three and a half years.
After the humiliating loss at MITB, everyone had their sights set on Reigns’ next move. Fans were fully invested in seeing what the Undisputed WWE Universal Champ would do on this week’s blue brand episode. Therefore, thousands of fans attended the Friday show event, creating a record-breaking number.

The 7 July episode of SmackDown streamed live from Madison Square Garden in New York. Recently, WWE via their official Twitter handle shared a piece of good news on their feed. It was stated that this week’s episode of the blue brand officially became the highest-grossing SmackDown in the US.

Plus, the Stamford-based promotion also revealed that it was also the highest-grossing event ever to take place at Madison Saure Garden. This is not the first time The Bloodline drama has helped WWE to bag such amazing numbers. Plus, this week’s SmackDown was extra special as The Usos held a Tribal Court against The Tribal Chief.
Roman Reigns unleashed his wrath on The Usos
The WWE Universe hailed Reigns’ Oscar-winning performance as he displayed incredible acting skills inside the ropes. The show kickoff with the twin brothers celebrating their MITB win. Soon, Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Solo Sikao interrupted them. Irate Reigns lashed out at them for holding a trial against him.

The Usos then showed him a video of his worst moments as ‘The Tribal Chief’ and stated he should relinquish his position. Fans thought they were going to witness the passing of the torch as Reigns put his necklace around Jey’s neck and kneeled down. But it was only to give him a low blow.
Solo and Reigns then unleashed their wrath on The Usos for humiliating their Tribal Chief. It seemed like Reigns had an epiphany and felt remorseful for his unjust actions towards The Usos. But it was just an act to make his cousins let their guard down. And when that happened, he viciously attacked them, showing no mercy.
