Tim White shares memories with Andre the Giant

Tim White started as a part-time referee in 1985 while working as André the Giant’s agent. In 1993, shortly after Andre’s death, White became a full-time referee, appearing more frequently on pay-per-views and WWE television.

Sometime back, Tim White did a small interview with The Hannibal TV. He shared his experience for travelling with Andre during the time White was his agent.

White said, “I loved Andre okay and there was many great memories. I tried to put that forward is what a great guy he was, not just I know. He was a giant but he was so sensitive and so great. He put women on the pedestal, he loved animals, it was just a great great guy. So when we travelled on the road together it was when I call into the office to take care of like travel plane tickets. It was big bear and little bear. “

He added, “We had a blast together, because really if you got to know him. You know I have been in the business long time, the bigger they are, the greater they are. It’s unreal how the big men in the industry are the nicest guys go in. Andre was the class act and god I loved him and god I miss him everyday and we had a blast.”

In 2002, White suffered a shoulder injury during a Hell in a Cell match between Triple H and Chris Jericho on Judgment Day. White returned to referee the match between Chris Jericho and Christian at WrestleMania XX in 2004. However, he re-injured his shoulder during the final three counts of the match, forcing him to end his referee career.
