The Undertaker has finally parted ways with pro wrestling after 30 long years. The Deadman now spends most of his time with his wife and kids. Also, Taker’s wife, Michelle McCool, is a former WWE superstar, and she knows the business inside out. She also knows the high risks and struggles involved in being a pro wrestler.

The WWE superstars put their bodies at a high risk of getting injured while performing, and it gets harder for the superstars to perform at that proficiency due to their declining age. After his last match and retirement ceremony, Taker’s wife, Michelle McCool, opened up about her concerns regarding her husband.

While talking to People magazine, Michelle McCool opened up about what part of The Undertaker’s job scares her the most. “It’s hard because I know the business, and I know what he expects of himself. […] No matter what type of pain he’s in, he’s going to go out there and perform, and he’s not going to back down or compensate for anything. That’s always scary.”

The Undertaker is known for his commitment to his gimmick. Taker comes in a particular category of performers who put their performance above their health or anything else. And that thought was a constant concern to his wife.

 The All-American Diva always knew her husband’s passion for his work and supported him in the latter years of his career. “But just because something’s scary doesn’t mean that we still can’t go out there, be brave and do it. It’s hard emotionally, it’s hard physically, but that’s what you do when you love somebody.”

The Undertaker has finally hung up his boots, and that may be a sigh of relief for McCool. But Mark Calaway can never be free from the legacy of The Undertaker. Calaway is now traveling the world performing his 1 deadman show where he tells the backstage stories from his gimmick as The Undertaker.

Mark Calaway has opened up in many interviews that he still wants to perform The Undertaker’s gimmick. But due to his declining age, he won’t be able to perform as well as he used to. At least Calaway is now living a happy retirement life with his wife and kids who care about him deeply.
