“Thats What I Wanna Do…”: Dwayne Johnson Once Had an Outlandish Plan to Take Down Upcoming Film Co-star Chris Evans’ Captain America and the Avengers

Former WWE Champion Dwayne Johnson is currently one of the top stars in Hollywood. Johnson jumped shipped from WWE to Hollywood in the early 2000s and soon became one of the most profitable stars in the industry.

Over the years, Johnson has been a part of several successful movies, and film franchises. However, not every one of them has been successful. His last film, Black Adam, fell flat on its face after releasing last year. Johnson worked hard on his superhero film for the past 15 years, but it failed to deliver, as many had expected it to.

After that, James Gunn entered the DCEU and announced how they would not be continuing with Black Adam anymore for the time being. Gunn was previously associated with the MCU aka Marvel Cinematic Universe. MCU also happens to be a long and storied competition with the DCEU.

Johnson had on several previous occasions taken shots on MCU, and once had an outlandish plan to take down his upcoming film, Red One’s co-star Chris Evans and The Avengers. Johnson’s plan was nothing personal, and everything he said was done in good humor.

What plan had Dwayne Johnson devised to take down The Avengers?

The Avengers were portrayed in the MCU as a team of superheroes headed by Captain America, played by Chris Evans. Evans last appeared in Avengers: Endgame, where he bid adieu to the role. Back during the promotions of Johnson’s film, ‘Rampage’, the former WWE Champion spoke about a plan which he had crafted to take down The Avengers, as he was readying himself for a role in the DCEU.

Speaking, The Brahma Bull brought up the plan of having The Avengers face a zombie version of himself or Black Adam. Johnson said, “That’s what I wanna do… I wanna be that zombie, and actually, I want to be the zombie that kills all the heroes on the show.” He further claimed, “Then we bring in the Avengers… and then Black Adam goes like, with lightning, ‘Bang! Dead motherf**kers.’”

It was an extremely creative plan to take down The Avengers. However, fans will never get to witness this, since neither Black Adam is there anymore nor the original cast of The Avengers.

Black Adam and Captain America came together to produce a Christmas-themed, action-comedy film, ‘Red One’ which would be releasing later this year, during the holiday season and will feature Evans and Johnson as the main cast.

The film would feature both comedy and action and is said to be a family film, which people could enjoy during the festive season.
