“That’s So Confusing to Me”: Triple H Makes a Massive Confession About Billionaire Vince McMahon

The King Of The Kings has now finally got the place he fought for during his Triple H gimmick. Paul Levesque is now the head of creative in the WWE universe. All the fellow superstars of Triple H have praised him at some point in his career for his creative skills. And now, when The Game is finally at the top, he opened up about Vince McMahon’s time as a decision maker.

Paul Levesque sat down with Ariel Helwani recently to talk about his time as the new head of creative at WWE. In the interview, Triple H spoke about how Vince McMahon used to manage the business compared to him. 

Seaking on BT Sport, Triple H said, “I always marveled at Vince’s ability to change hats like that. […] He could just jump around doing all these different things and I think Jesus that’s so confusing to me. 

But it seems like Triple H has now managed to cope with the responsibilities. “You feel like you’re drowning in the questions and it used to be really difficult. I used to marvel at its ability to do that. And over time I find myself in that position of having to do that and as long as you focus on one thing at a time and just keep moving forward, you’re good.” said Triple H.

Triple H on filling Vince McMahon’s shoes

Hunter knows how big a responsibility he has and he acknowledged it. “I’m in this place where I have the creative control of WWE, the largest sports entertainment company that there’s been on the planet. It’s hard to even think about, but it’s overwhelming and it is such a massive responsibility. Trying to fill Vince’s shoes in some way that can’t be done by one person, but trying to step into those in any way, shape, or form is just overwhelming. But you just go and do the job and hopefully people will dig it.” 

Triple H stated how overwhelming the experience has been for him as head of creative, “There are moments where I’m making decisions even now when I feel like I should probably check with somebody to see if this is okay, but who am I gonna check with?”

The Game still feels like he should take approval, but there’s no Vince McMahon for that. In fact, there is no one above Triple H when it comes to making creative decisions for WWE now.
