The top rope of the ring snapped during the match between Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. Surprisingly, the top rope was not snapped as a part of the match, it was an accident and Lashley fell out of the ring while performing a reversal when McIntyre pushed him towards the rope.

Wrestling News shared the video on their Twitter account. The caption said, “The top rope snapped at the WWE live event in Newcastle. Bobby Lashley is okay.”

The Almighty fell backward, rolling out of the ring when the top rope broke. McIntyre, the referees, and the ringside crew quickly came to the aid of Lashley. However, Lashley was alright and got back into the ring to complete the match.

Fans react to the rope snapping incident

This fan said, “Wow…that’s scary! I thought Bobby Lashley broke the rope, but the rope snapped when Drew McIntyre hit them, a split second before Lashley flipped over and out of the ring at full speed on the other side, never slowing his momentum.”

The Almighty was outside the ring, checked by the WWE crew ringside. Moreover, he completed the match in the broken ring. After the match, McIntyre and Lashley thanked the Newcastle crowd in the arena.
