Moreover, The Rock extended his support to actor-comedian Rob Delaney after he lost his son due to a brain tumor in 2018.

During a recent appearance on The One Show, the former WWE champion shed a tear while talking about the passing of Delaney’s young child. This tragedy occurred before Delaney and Johnson worked together on the sets of Hobbs and Shaw.

Following this, The Great One tweeted his condolences to Delaney’s family.

Dwayne Johnson gets emotional while talking about Delaney’s loss

Dwayne Johnson has earned the respect and adulation of fans due to his heartwarming and compassionate gestures from time to time. The $800 million worth Hollywood actor reaches out to fans and other celebrities when he can to comfort them or even help them out with a situation.

The fans also appreciated the star when sent his condolences to Lindsey Vonn following the death of her mother.

The Rock did the same for BAFTA-winning comedy writer Rob Delaney after his son tragically passed away at the age of two due to a brain tumor in 2018. He tweeted condolences and urged him to stay strong in the wake of the tragedy.

Recently during an appearance on The One Show, Delaney talked about his memoir, “A heart that works”. The memoir includes details of his son Henry’s death. The writer also shared how Dwayne Johnson made him feel nice after his tweet about his son.

The host then asked The Great One about his message to Delaney and how he knew what to say. DJ can be seen wiping tears before he emotionally replied, “I have babies at home, all girls: 21, 6 and 4. That story, hearing that rocked us in our household.”

Delaney then continued his praise for The Rock’s gesture and said, “He sent me a lovely tweet after Henry died. He said Henry’s name and said something sweet, and he just did it. It made me feel nice. ” It is pertinent to note that this tragedy and The Rock’s heartwarming gesture occured before the two shared screens as part of Hobbs & Shaw.

Understandably, Dwayne Johnson, who is a father himself, empthaized with Delaney. Hence, he teared up again at the mention of the tragedy that befell his co-star a few years ago.
