To pay respect to the late wrestler, the president of All Elite Wrestling figured a way out. In his recent tweet, he announced a match between James’ brother Mark Briscoe and longtime friend and rival, Jay Lethal scheduled for the upcoming AEW Dynamite, this Wednesday. The best part of it is the date coincides with late Briscoe’s 39th birthday. The pro wrestling fans then received this applaud-worthy official announcement with open arms.
Not only did they praise this decision of Khan, but also thanked him for doing what was needed.
Thank you Tony, this going to be an emotional night for everyone watching at home and in the arena. All the best best to Mark, hope he’s doing and I know it’ll be difficult for him to be in the ring without his brother Jay by his side.
