John Cena has quickly become a force in Hollywood with several high-profile projects under his belt. The wrestler-turned-actor also has a significant presence on social media and recently went viral by singing a Bollywood song. Cena’s singing skills were recognized by Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan, whose song the wrestler was spotted singing.

After the video of Cena singing a song from Khan’s movie went viral, Khan took to social media to congratulate Cena. In addition, he wrote a special message for Cena and asked him to sing a duet with his friend from the clip. Well, now there’s another addition to the back and forth as John Cena just replied to the Bollywood icon.

Recently, a video of the wrestler-turned-actor singing the song “Bholi Si Surat” from the 1997 Indian film “Dil To Pagal Hai,” went viral on social media. The song was performed by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. Khan is the fourth richest actor in the world, with an estimated net worth of $760 million. After the video caught the attention of Shah Rukh Khan, the actor took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his reaction. He thanked the 16x world champion and asked him for a duet. Well now, Cena too has provided a response and it’s one of gratitude. He tweeted, “You have given so many in the world so much happiness, thank you for all you do.”

Cena sang the song at the request of wrestler Gurvinder “Gurv” Sihra, aka Sunil Singh, a member of The Bollywood Boyz wrestling team. In the original video, Sihra thanked the 16x World Champion for his guidance throughout his wrestling career and later taught Cena a Bollywood song, leading to the viral video.

After Shah Rukh Khan retweeted the video of Cena singing one of his songs and left an emotional message for the Peacemaker star, netizens were quick to share their reactions to the bromance display between Khan and the 46-year-old. As the tweets suggest, fans of Khan and Cena were thrilled to see the two stars expressing their respect for each other. Some fans even suggested that Cena try Khan’s famous pose, while others expressed a wish to see the wrestler play the role of a villain in one of Khan’s films.

The bromance between Khan and Cena goes back a long way, as the two have often interacted via social media. In 2017, Cena shared an article about Khan, to which he replied on Twitter. Similarly, in 2018, Cena tweeted a quote from Khan on his Twitter account, hinting that he was a fan of the Bollywood star. And now, Khan and ‘The leader of the Cenation’ have continued their interactions well into 2024, much to the delight of their fans.
