“Thank You for Giving Me Strength”: John Cena Once Found a 19-Years-Old Teen Channeling His ‘Never Give Up’ Mantra Like No One Else in Amsterdam

John Cena is one of the greatest and most humble superstars in the entertainment business. Over the years, Cena has established himself as one of the biggest names in the industry. John Cena made his WWE debut in the year 2002 and became one of the greatest. As the PG-Era of WWE began, Cena had a shift in his character, and started connecting more with the younger set of fans. Wearing graphic colorful tees, sneakers, and jorts, he had an instant connection with the fans. And, on top of that, his baby-face character helped in building that bond.

Earlier this year, The Leader of Cenation took his connections with a step further and made his way across Europe to meet a young fan. The 45-year-old Cena is also known for granting a record number of wishes for Make-a-wish foundation.

This time, Cena flew to Amsterdam to meet Misha, a child who, along with his family, fled Ukraine after their home was destroyed during Russia’s attack. Cena met Misha and was over the moon with happiness.

John Cena was all praises for Misha and his strong mother

In the video posted by the official page of WWE, Cena said, “When I read about Misha’s story, it reached out to me. Not just Misha’s story but story of Misha’s mom as well. Having three days off from work right at the time right at the time when I read the story. And being an hour away by air. It turned immediately, and we are going.”

John Cena further stated how it was a special afternoon and enjoyed the time he spent with Misha. Cena said, “That means spending an afternoon, building blocks and even cake. That’s a special afternoon when it comes to the new friends I was able to meet.”  It was a wonderful gesture from Cena to go and meet the family who went through a lot.

While talking to Misha with a translator, Cena also thanked him, “thank you for giving me the strength“, said the WWE legend.

John Cena is known for being humble and caring toward his fans. His gesture with Misha and his mother won everyone’s hearts. Toward’s the end of their meet, he was all praises for the mother-son duo.

He said, “Misha’s ability embrace persistence that’s extraordinary. Those words never gave up. We have all fought about those in our life. Those are very powerful. I think Misha is a great example.”

He further praised Misha’s mom too, saying, “Misha’s mom is two great examples of how persistence can bring you joy even in the toughest of times.”

The 16-times-world champion would then present Misha with his signature tee and a WWE World Championship belt. Further, Cena would conclude the video with a wholesome gesture and let the world know that it was indeed a special day for him.
