Recently, WWE star and actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson entered the cosmetics business, releasing his own brand of men’s skincare products called Papatui. The brand and products aimed to remove the stigma men face when buying skincare products. Setting the price between $8-$10, Johnson’s new lineup spread like wildfire. After the rave reviews started rolling in, Johnson took to social media to talk about all the work that made Papatui what it is.

Dwayne Johnson says Papatui was the result of three years’ worth of hard work

Taking to social media, Johnson started off by reminding everyone that it is time for men to talk about men’s skincare openly. Following this, he said, “THANK YOU TO EVERYONE 🙏🏾❤️ who’s played a role in our company.” Despite playing a heel, Johnson has never missed a chance to thank the people who have helped him in any way. The Rock continued, “3 years of research and hard work – feels great to finally deliver the quality goods.” Even during the launch, he said that these were high-quality products meant to be affordable for everyone.

Furthermore, in the video, he talked about the journey he’s been on in crafting the product. Speaking to People Magazine, he said, “I’ve been lucky enough to have access to some of the best resources and minds when developing Papatui.” He explained how he collaborated with experts and professionals to develop the products. He mentioned that in the video as well. This is something that Johnson has always been interested in, and since he kept getting asked what he used for his skin, he decided to go into it.

He even went on The Drew Barrymore Show and talked about his new lineup. Regarding the show, The Rock only praised Barrymore. He claimed that it was so comforting that there were moments when he forgot there was a live studio audience. Papatui offers a variety of skincare, haircare, body care, and tattoo care products. All products are formulated with ingredients like ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and coconut oil and are free from certain harsh chemicals. Papatui centers around effective, straightforward, and functional products for the everyday man.
