Apart from being an ace actor, Dwayne Johnson is also well-acclaimed as an excellent pro-wrestler and one of the most influential businessmen. Johnson started his amateur football career but could earn fame there and had to switch careers. Soon, Johnson stepped into the industry of pro wrestling. Using his exceptional promo-delivering skills and wrestling abilities, Johnson rose the ranks and became a top star there.
However, he would again switch careers and make a shift to Hollywood to pursue his life as an actor. After some initial bumps and struggles, The Rock quickly became the highest-paid actor in football. Despite such career shifts, his love for one thing never changed. That is football.

Dwayne Johnson always loved football. As an actor, he was a part of a television show called ‘Ballers’ based on the game of football. However, in 2020, he purchased XFL for around $15 million. Alongside Dany Garcia and Gerry Cardinale’s RedBird Capital, Dwayne Johnson owns the XFL.

For the past two years, he has diligently promoted the alternate football league to the NFL. When the then-Vince McMahon-owned XFL was launched in 2001, it came out with the motive of fast-paced action, cheerleaders in scanty clothing, and more aggressive football. However, with new management in charge, such does not seem to be the direction.
