Dwayne Johnson always loved football. As an actor, he was a part of a television show called ‘Ballers’ based on the game of football. However, in 2020, he purchased XFL for around $15 million. Alongside Dany Garcia and Gerry Cardinale’s RedBird Capital, Dwayne Johnson owns the XFL.

When the then-Vince McMahon-owned XFL was launched in 2001, it came out with the motive of fast-paced action, cheerleaders in scanty clothing, and more aggressive football. However, with new management in charge, such does not seem to be the direction.
