Wrestling legend “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, who hasn’t stepped foot in a wrestling ring in a long time. But he showed that doesn’t mean anybody should try to go toe to toe with him.

Jim Duggan recently talked about the incident exclusively to Wrestling Inc. The first-ever Royal Rumble winner said the intruder broke into his house on December 8th which was a Thursday around 6:45 PM. Duggan divulged that the invader was a male who was around 20s. He invaded Duggan’s South Carolina home from the front door.
However, the WWE legend claimed to have taken down the intruder by himself. Moreover, he also grabbed the .44 caliber pistol, holding the intruder at gunpoint.
Duggan and his wife Debra also recalled about their neighborhood shouting finding this intruder around the area. The neighborhood frightened the invader, so entered Duggan’s house.
The WWE legend kept the gun on his lap and held the invader at his home till the police came to arrest him. Moreover, he also shut off his Christmas lights so people won’t come near his house.
As per the article, the intruder who took refuge in Duggan’s house was feeling from some individuals that was related to a separate legal matter. Therefore, to get himself protected, he invaded the WWE legend’s home.
Duggan claimed the invader banged the doors of several people in the neighborhood before stumbling in his house. The WWE legend did not press charges against the invader. When the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Department arrived, he just let them arrest the intruder. Also, Duggan said, “Thank God we didn’t shoot him”

Jim Duggan eliminated cancer from his life a few months back
A few months back in August, Duggan shared a video on Instagram in which he shared eliminating cancer from his life. He wrote the caption, “I Rang That BELL!!” while leaving the hospital for one last time.
In the post, the wrestling legend shared about coming for therapy for right weeks and looking at the bell. The bell was rang by patients who completed their treatment. Therefore, after looking at everyone ringing it, Duggan was waiting for his day to do so. Fortunately, that day came in August and he eliminated cancer from his life

The first Royal Rumble winner thanked all the nurses, doctors and family members for their support. Clearly, the WWE legend was tough in the ring and also is a tough person in real life.
