Team Raw have once again proven to be incapable of getting along. This week, the super team of Sheamus, Keith Lee, Braun Strowman and Riddle lost to Retribution in a frantic eight man tag team match.

Self-proclaimed captain AJ Styles was at commentary for this match, cheering his ‘boys’ on as a father would cheer for his son’s baseball game. Team Raw’s Riddle started off against Retribution’s Slapjack.
Team Raw seemed to be having the upper hand against Retribution, until T-Bar joined the fray and dominated Riddle. The Bro looked very impressive against T-Bar, hitting him with an exploder suplex and the ‘bro’-ton.
The match came to a sputtering halt once Riddle looked to tag out. Braun Strowman tossed Sheamus’ tag away and went for one instead. This led to an argument breaking out between the two, causing AJ Styles and his new bodyguard to get involved.

After the commercial break, Retribution were back in control, and were sailing smoothly until Keith frickin’ Lee was tagged. Lee ran through Retribution with ease. Without breaking a sweat, he reestablished Team Raw’s dominance and credibility.
Keith Lee is the difference maker

Lee busted out some of his signature offence, the running crossbody, the one armed slam and a devastating pounce that turned Slapjack inside out. Mace and T-Bar seemed to neutralize the Keith Lee issue, but almost got themselves taken out by the former NXT Champion.
Lee looked to plant T-Bar and Mace through the announcer’s table, only for Mustafa Ali to take him out from behind with a sudden and stunning suicide dive. Ali then rolled Lee in for the pin, which the latter kicked out of emphatically.
The finish of the match was a very exciting one, with Team Raw‘s cohesiveness showing in the ring. They dominated Retribution to the point that Mustafa Ali was the only member left in the ring. Strowman took out Mace and T-Bar, while Sheamus took out Slapjack.

Lee seemed ready to put away the leader, but Sheamus tagged himself in and looked to hit the Brogue Kick. Braun Strowman tagged himself in and almost took the win for himself, but got involved in an altercation with Sheamus.

All of this confusion left Riddle to tag himself in and look for the win. However, Ali took advantage of the chaos and rolled up Riddle for the shocking win. Even though Retribution aren’t on the card, this is a big win for the group ahead of Survivor Series.
The arguments continued post the match between Team Raw members. The visuals of the team will not be very reassuring for Team Captain AJ Styles, who has struggled to keep his band of warriors from falling apart.
