Jade Cargill and her partner entered the Women’s Tag Team Championship match themselves as confident and worthy holders of the title. However, things ended badly for them. Not only did the champions lose the title in Glasgow tonight, but there were also some notable botches in the match. One of them was when Jade Cargill was in a chokehold by Shayna Baszler.

The former UFC fighter had Cargill in a deadly headlock that seemed to be hurting the latter. So, when Baszler was riding her back during the lock, Jade Cargill ended up tapping on her arm, probably to ease her down, as it may have been hurting her. However, this is something that the internet did not want to consider as an excuse. As a result, there were several fans who pointed out the botch. Technically speaking, Shayna Baszler and her partner would have won the match had the referee noticed it. But it was the Scottish wrestlers, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, who ended up winning the title via pinfall. As a result, the viewers were not happy with the botch, nor did they take kindly to the referee’s ignorance. This botch happened quite a few times and the internet voiced it out.
