Despite being a new face in the WWE Tama Tonga has endeared himself to the wrestling faithful. The Butcher of Bloodline has stated unequivocally that he is in the WWE to support his family and will destroy anybody who crosses their way. So far, we’ve seen how cruel Tama Tonga can be in the ring. And it appears that his splendid presentation has helped him build a large following.

A specific Instagram handle’s information can be seen on Instatracker. You can see how much a wrestler’s account has grown over time via the app. In the case of Tama Tonga, it has increased significantly. In the last 90 days, the MFT has gained 39.32% more followers than he had previously, indicating that his growth has exploded despite being a heel in the promotion. As frightening as these figures are for Tonga, the most shocking aspect is not only the statistics themselves.

The most alarming aspect is that these stats much outpace Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa’s Instagram account growth over the previous 90 days. The number for Roman Reigns is 13.10%, and the number for Solo Sikoa is only 11.29%.

These figures from such major names are expectedly modest. Especially given that other members of the Bloodline have increased their fan-following at considerably faster rates. Furthermore, you can observe the same thing with Jacob Fatu, who has grown exponentially since making his WWE debut. But has Fatu’s arrival in WWE signaled something sinister for Tonga himself?

Is Tama Tonga worried about something after the debut of Jacob Fatu?

Jacob Fatu startled the wrestling world with his WWE debut on last week’s SmackDown. It was believed that his debut had been postponed since WrestleMania season. Thus fans were eager for him to arrive in the WWE and join his family’s famed group. Although this debut provided Bloodline an advantage, Tama Tonga may not be thrilled about it.

In a new WWE video, the Bloodline can be seen heading backstage after Jacob Fatu makes his debut. In the video, we can see Solo Sikoa being overconfident because of how many family members are now his backup, while Tama Tonga appears to be concerned. Fans have argued that Tonga may be worried about Fatu’s greater impact and potential. Another theory states that the MFT is concerned about the vicious and uncontrollable nature of the former MLW World Heavyweight champion. Both Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa displayed signs of skepticism over Sikoa’s decision to bring in Fatu in the closing moments of SmackDown. This could potentially drive a wedge within the faction.

Nevertheless, whatever may happen with The Bloodline, we can rest assured that Tonga’s ever-growing popularity will only increase with time. What are your opinions on Tama Tonga’s increasing fan base? Are you a huge admirer of his? Please let us know in the comments.
