The much-awaited WWE Survivor Series WarGames is finally here. The event started on a high with an incredible women’s WarGames match featuring sick bumps, high-risk moves, and weapons galore. Becky Lynch ended the match with a leg drop from the top of the cage. And the enticing triple-threat US title match between champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, Bobby Lashley, and Austin Theory did not disappoint either.

Champion Rollins had a stiff obstacle on his hand with both challengers showcasing their credentials before the clash. A resurgent Theory promised to prove himself after a failed cash-in attempt on Rollins courtesy of Lashley. And the irate Bobby Lashley had destroyed everything in his path after his loss to Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel earlier this month. The match was filled with high-quality maneuvers from start to finish. And the talented trio entertained the watching audience with their impeccable chemistry.
A topsy-turvy encounter
The match began with both Lashley and Rollins, forcing Theory outside the ring with instant attacks. And the young wrestler later took both of them out with steel steps at ringside. Also, an unusual double hurt-lock attempt by The Almighty on both his opponents at the same time caught the fans off guard. ‘The Architect’ lived up to his name by using Theory as a launchpad to plant a curb stomp on Lashley.
A surprise finish equally matched the intense encounter. Rollins’ attempted falcon arrow on Theory was blocked by a spear from The Almighty Bobby Lashley. And ever the opportunist, ‘The Now’ pinned Rollins to steal the match as well as the United States Championship.
WWE Fans react to the shocking result
The match, as well as the outcome, amazed WWE fans. Very few expected Theory to pick up the win, and took to social media to provide their unhinged opinions. Some were hyped up about a potential clash between Theory and John Cena, while others weren’t too pleased with the outcome of the match.

Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley are already proven performers at the top level. However, the eventual winner, Austin Theory, matched both of them every step of the way throughout the blockbuster encounter. He justified the hype around him with an impressive display against two veterans holding his own. While the fans might have mixed feelings about the result, it is difficult to not give credit to the ‘A Town Down’ superstar for his instant redemption.
