Brock Lesnar’s daughter, Mya has been making a name for herself as a track and field athlete. Back in December last year she broke the shot put record at Colorado State with a throw of 18.50 meters. Now she is in the news once again after she secured another record-breaking shot put win and was captured by cameras embracing her father.

The photo offered fans a glimpse into the fatherly side of the “Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar but they couldn’t help but be astonished at the resemblance between the father-daughter duo.

Mya Lesnar named Mountain West Women’s Field Athlete of the Week

Mya Lesnar broke the shot put record at Colorado State by throwing the shot 19.07 meters at Mines Alumni Classic. The junior star was named the Mountain West Women’s Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Don Kirby Invitational last weekend. She didn’t just break her own school record but also the best mark in the NCAA so far this season. She placed first in the women’s shot put Saturday, with her mark also being the eighth-best all-time in the NCAA.

Lesnar also had an impressive day one of the Don Kirby Invitational as she placed first in a competitive field in the women’s weight throw with a career-best mark of 21.78 meters, moving her up to third place all-time in CSU history. This throw ranks her 14th in the nation and first in the conference.

And when the picture of her celebrating her win made rounds on social media, people couldn’t help but notice that the father-daughter duo don’t just share the habit of setting records, but also a striking resemblance when it comes to their appearances.

As the picture of a spectacled Brock Lesnar hugging his daughter went viral fans praised Mya Lesnar and expressed their surprised at how closely she resembles her father.

A fan referenced the resemblance while also feeling glad for Mya.

Another fan joked that Lesnar posted two pictures of him, once again highlighting the similar appearances of Lesnar and his daugher.

On the same lines, a user exclaimed that there was no doubt about them being father and daughter.

A fan wished Mya well for the future. Last year in December, WWE color commentator Pat McAfee speaking on the Pat McAfee Show said, “Sources have told me that Mya Lesnar is now 224 lbs of all muscle, ready to throw a rock for the United States of America when her time comes, and beat the hell out of everybody else.” This could hint at big things for Mya in the future and may also point to her representing the USA at the Olympics.

Mya Lesnar began competing in shot put in 2022 at Arizona State University, the same one that Spanish golfer Jon Rahm competed for during his college days, winning her first competition in January 2022 with a mark of 15.65 and shining in numerous competitions with the university although she did not manage to pass the screening to compete in the NCAA championships.

After moving to Colorado State University in December 2022, Mya Lesnar won the Potts Invitational and the Colorado Running Company UCCS Invite with marks over 16 meters and managed to be third at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a mark of 16.89. So it looks like another Lesnar could make a mark in the world of sports.
