John Cena is certainly among the greatest to have ever graced the squared circle. The latter half of the 2000s and the first half of the 2010s are filled with Cena’s heroics in the WWE. He has since become an occasional wrestler and a full-time actor.

Gaining multiple roles with big-budget studios has not lessened his love for wrestling. In a past interview, The Doctor of Thuganomics brought along NFL legend Tom Brady to put across his point.

It’s very hard to be on the path of dominance that Cena set while at the WWE. He made an appearance in an interview with Larry King in the past. The legend talked about a host of issues which included his then-WWE future, still nascent Hollywood career, and UFC. He was also asked about the contention in the promotion.

John Cena mentioned Tom Brady

He said, “For the most part, it’s very competitive I would say it’s the same rapport let’s say Peyton Manning and Tom Brady would have on the field. Having spent more than a decade with the company, Cena’s words could be taken as gospel here. He knows the ins and outs of the business having spent such a long time in the industry.

There are not many who were in the good books of former WWE chairman Vince McMahon. The record-equalling 16-time world champion is definitely one of those wrestlers. This speaks volumes about his ability and charisma.

Cena was recently part of a throwback

Cena recently appeared on the final episode of Smackdown for the year 2022. He teamed up with Kevin Owens to take on Sami Zayn and the leader of The Bloodline Roman Reigns.

The Cenation Leader looked in prime shape with little signs of ring rust, despite competing last in 2021. He ended on the winning side and ended the year on a high. The fans would be wondering whether the wrestler-turned-actor would make an appearance in the annual showpiece WrestleMania 39.
