Hogan has made appearances for WWE notably at WrestleMania 30 and was the co-host for WrestleMania 37.

Although the former WWE Champion trains on a regular basis, an in-ring return may be too much of a risk.

Hulk Hogan said his body is not fit for wrestling anymore

Hulk Hogan wrestled his last match on a TNA show in London in 2013 in a six-man tag-team match.

Since then there have been murmurs of the WWE Hall of Famer returning for one more match to receive a perfect send-off. And for Hogan, who once said, wrestling is his life, staying away from the ring might be difficult but the right decision.

In an interview with ‘People’ in 2019, Hogan talked about his life away from WWE during his suspension from the company in 2015. He spoke about enjoying life on the beach in Florida and setting up a new restaurant.

The Hulkster also gave an update on his in-ring return. He said, “I’m too old to wrestle. I embarrassed myself enough out there by moving too slow, so I don’t want to get back in there again.”

He further added, “I could probably wrestle somebody like John Cena or Vince McMahon. But as soon as I’d be done, they’d be taking me straight to the hospital to fix something. The body’s too worn out for that.”

While some of the ‘Hulkamaniacs’ may be hoping to see him again inside the squared circle, Hogan’s decision to stay away from action may be the right one. He has had multiple surgeries over the years and any exertion while wrestling could impact his life severely.

Hogan transformed his body when he was a teenager

While many fans remember Hogan having a perfect physique, he was obese while growing up. He revealed that he made changes to his diet and began training to lose weight and get in perfect shape.

He said he was the subject of ridicule from others for being overweight, but decided to transform himself. It allowed him to get into pro wrestling. At that time, Hogan had a physique that rivaled some famous bodybuilders of that time.

Soon ‘Hulkamania’ was running wild and pro wrestling was changed forever, thanks to Hogan.
