A few years ago, Vince McMahon appeared on the episode of ‘The Stone Cold Podcast’ with Steve Austin. There, The Rattlesnake recalled their cage match at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, in which he claimed McMahon didn’t coordinate in the match.
Austin said, “You are the most uncoordinated bastard I have ever thrown into damn ropes. And when you threw me on the cage at the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. I mean, it was brutal because you are supposed to let a guy give a kind of heads up and know where he is going. And you just slung me into the ring with full force. Discombobulation, uncoordination you personified.”

In that match, Mr. McMahon took huge bumps to put Austin over. One of those was when the former CEO of WWE took a fall from the cage on the announcer’s table. Also, at the time of this match, McMahon was 53 years old, taking a huge bump on his back with almost no in-ring match history.

Moreover, this is the same match when The Big Show debuted in WWE. Stone Cold won the match after Big Sow interfered and tossed Austin into the cage. The cage broke, and The Rattlesnake was outside the cage and hence he won.

The main reason McMahon fought Austin was to prevent him from going to WrestleMania to face The Rock for the WWE title. However, Stone Cold won and headlined the grandest stage that year.
